Startup at Motorworks: Meet the winners

We’ve had the privilege of being home to some of the most exciting new and growing businesses in the South West since we opened our first workspace in Frome over 15 years ago. Our Startup competitions, which we’ve run at sites in Bristol and Taunton, have been a great way to reconnect with the entrepreneurial spirit that we love to nurture.

At the beginning of 2024, we brought the Startup format home to Frome and launched Startup at Motorworks. We had a great response from local businesses looking for their next space, and from new ventures looking for their first office space.

We’re delighted to announce that the winner of Startup at Motorworks is Ursus Productions, led by Ben Anderson. Here’s what Ben had to say about winning the prize.

“It’s an exciting opportunity for Ursus to hopefully start expanding our business in the South West, as well as giving a really valuable opportunity to a small business like us.

We hope to use the studio as a meeting space, creative space and potentially a production space too.”
